Federal government confirms elimination of pre-arrival COVID test requirement

As of April 1st, 2022, the Canadian will no longer require pre-arrival COVID testing for fully vaccinated travellers arriving in Canada.

It is another step to normalizing travel. Fully vaccinated travellers ** may still be randomly tested upon arrival starting April 1, however they no longer need to quarantine while waiting for the results.

All travellers must also continue to use ArriveCAN, either the app or online.

So where can you travel now? Check out the map below. If you are fully vaccinated, you can travel without testing to 78 countries (dark green) and a whopping 89 countries (light green) will let you travel after doing a pre-arrival test. These numbers are increasing daily. You can find out the latest here. (This tool will also allow you to research restrictions for any particular trip.
