On Wednesday the Canadian Government issued another travel advice against non-essential travel outside of Canada. The advice is based on the rapid spread of the omicron variant.
Is the Canadian Government overreacting with its new travel advice?
Certainly airlines and sun package operators were taken by surprise.
In the end time will tell. All I know is that I can continue to inspire you with travel ideas until you feel the time has come to travel. So join us for our winter webinar series of inspiring journeys!
We already kicked off with two great webinars which you can see on these links: Polar Travel and Active Travel in Europe.
At the start of January we will host a webinar on Active Travel in Canada and I will also touch on adventure cruises in BC and the Artic.
At the end of next month Intrepid will be joining me for a webinar on Food, Family and Premium Travel. Foodies, parents, kids and all those who loved the Peregrine brand should tune in for this.
Just after Family Day Aurora Expeditions will join me for a show on Expedition Cruising worldwide. We'll take you to some remote corners of the world, to some of the last wild places on earth where land-based tours can't go.
Early March we have a double bill. Intrepid and Exodus have agreed to share their Trips in Asia and it promises to be a fun show. We'll be zipping through the continent from Central Asia to South East Asia, the Indian subcontinent and beyond.
We then take a little hiatus as I will be hiking in Greece, but at the end of April Explore will be joining me for a presentation Going Beyond the boundaries of adventure travel. Explore is known for their robust in-depth itineraries taking you beyond the normal highlights as wel las off-the-beaten-track.
Our final show is scheduled for May 11th at which time G-Adventures will show us their Best tours in Latin America.

I look forward to inspiring you!
I agree, the Canadian Government has overreacted over this new variant. Most of us have or are about to receive his/her booster, which combined with a negative PCR test should render you safe to travel. Top that with a good travel insurance that covers C-19 and you should be good to go.
