Ottawa drops pre-arrival PCR test, lifts travel advisory



The Canadian Government announced the following changes to their travel requirements, effective February 28th:


1) travel advisory downgraded to "exercise caution while travelling abroad"


2) Pre-arrival PCR test replaced by antigen test


3) a return to randomized PCR testing for arrivals at Canada’s airports. Fully vaccinated travellers who have been selected for these tests will no longer have to quarantine while waiting for their test results


4) unvaccinated children under the age of 12, who are travelling with fully vaccinated adults no longer need to self-isolate before returning to school etc. Thesy will also no longer be subject to testing
