Solo adventure travel in Galapagos? We have a small ship for your next cruise

Meet G-Adventures' newest small ship in Ecuador's Galapagos Islands: Reina Silvia Voyager. It's a well-appointed catamaran with 10 cabins spaced out over two decks. Best of all, two of those cabins are desginated for sole-occupancy. With a single supplement of around 28% on the regular twin-occupancy rate, solo-travellers can have their own cabin without breaking the bank.

The vessel has four main deck and two upper deck twin cabins (with twin side-by-side beds), each with a balcony and one cabin with a double bed (without balcony). The two solo cabins are on the upper deck and feauture a balcony as well.

There is a spacious indoor dining area and a lounge with TV which is used for briefings by your expedition leader. After enjoying your day in the islands, you may retired to the covered bar and seating area on the upper deck or while away some time on the spacious sundeck with a covered area, seats, and lounge chairs. The ship sports a barbecue area and even a Jacuzzi.

G-Adventures offers four different itineraries on their new ship. Two 10-day itineraries start and end with a night in Quito and you have a choice of either the western and central islands or the eastersn and central islands. Two 8-day itineraries do not include time in Quito nor the flights to and from Galapagos, instead starting and ending at Baltra Airport. Here too you have a choice of either the western and central islands or the eastersn and central islands.

Rates start at CA$5739 for the 8-day trips and from CA$6334 for the 10-day trips.
