Hike the highest peak in the lower 48, Mount Whitney, and walk through beautiful forests and alpine meadows. This is a trip of a lifetime, offering challenging and strenuous back-country hiking.

Itinerary
DAYS 1-13 SECTION ONE: Cottonwood - Big Pete Meadow
Several high passes along the Sierra's crest. Climb Mt. Whitney, hike through the Upper Basin, below the fourteen thousand foot peaks of the Palisade region and into Le Conte Canyon
Distance covered: 155 kms, 2 resupplies en-route
DAYS 14-20 SECTION TWO: Big Pete Meadow - Reds Meadow
Trek into the heart of the mountains across Muir Pass and into stunning Evolution Valley. Staying west of the Sierra's crest, we pass Lake Thomas Edison before climbing to the Silver Divide and Reds Meadow
Distance covered: 124 kms, 2 resupplies en-route
DAYS 21-23 SECTION THREE: Reds Meadow - Tuolumne
Skirt Garnet and Thousand Island lakes before crossing Donohue Pass and ending at Tuolumne Meadows. This is arguably the most beautiful section.
