DAY 8 To Shirakawa-go village for farmhouse stay
DAY 9 Hard ride to Hida Takayama in the Japanese Alps
DAY 10 Ride Gujo Hachiman Castle through rural scenery
DAY 11 Bike the Nagara Valley to Gifu
DAY 12 Train to Kyoto, free time
DAY 13 Cycle to temples in Kyoto
