On this 2-week adventure holiday in Turkey you will see the country without the crowds. Discover the bazaars, mosques and palaces of Istanbul, the former Byzantine capital. If you are lucky you may see the fairy-chimney landscapes of Cappadocia covered in snow. Wander the cobble-stoned streets of old Antalya, explore the ancient ruins of Hierapolis and the travertine terraces of Pamukkale. A highlight for many are the Greco-Roman ruins of Ephesus, while in a nearby village you can engage in a cooking class. Then it's off to the market town of Bergama, before exploring the Acropolis of old Pergamon. A sobering end note is a visit to the World War I battlefields of Gallipoli before returning to Istanbul.
