Hike exciting wilderness trails through the Rockies between Banff and Jasper. With three nights in Lake Louise there is ample time to hike through old-growth forest and climb up to some spectacular views of lakes, glaciers and backcountry. Continue to Yoho National Park where beautiful alpine scenery and waterfalls await. Next is a hike on the Athabasca Glacier before continuing on to Jasper National Park where the wildlife and panoramic views are incredible. A short helicopter flight will take you to Landslide Lake for a 2-day backcountry trek through alpine meadows and up mountain ridges. Finally Banff offers more incredible hikes to glacier lakes and stunning views.

Check astronomical websites to see if any meteor showers occur while you are on this trip. I had an amazing experience outside of Jasper seeing the Perseid shower.
